trip to atlantic city and baltimore + huge pictures
Erika and I have a list of stuff we wanna do sometime in the next few months, so this week we actually accomplished quite a few things that were on it.
Last weekend, we took a bus to Atlantic City for the day. It was basically free because you pay for the bus but get you're money back in a voucher as soon as you get into the casino. We got dropped off at the shittiest looking casino, the Taj Mahal or something, which is probably spelled wrong, oh well. The carpeting was bright purple and the place looked so old and cheesey. I didn't like it and for a few minutes in the beginning we thought this horrible looking old lady was throwing up in the bus drop off area of the casino. I had thought I saw the most disgusting thing ever but then realized she didn't throw up, she just spilled her container of rice. Actually, it was still nasty. We ended up leaving that place and going out on the boardwalk and then just kept walking for a long time. It was such an incredibly perfect day outside. The weather was wonderful and the boardwalk was very surprisingly nice. People always told me how much the boardwalk there was trash but compared to the Wildwood boardwalk, it was great and clean. While on the boardwalk, we witnessed the most horrible looking buffet ever, tons of pregnant women, and a little land full of cats that lived under the boardwalk. In the end, I think the Showboat casino was the best looking one and the buffet there looked awesome so sometime this summer when we go to the beach- we're definitely eating at that buffet. It's all about the big buffets. Oh yeah, and old women who talk about how they can't spread their legs. That was hilarious.
What else happened that weekend.. hmm. Well Sunday I slept the entire day. It was so nice. Since I actually work full time now as opposed to twice a week, I feel like I never sleep so having a whole day to do nothing was appreciated. I can't wait till next weekend when I can do that again hopefully.
The next day on Monday we were supposed to go to NYC to walk around but it was going to rain all day so walking around in the city wasn't happening. Instead we went to Baltimore. I went there before on a school trip in 6th grade. I liked it. This was a perfect example of how things change as you get older. Baltimore was so damn boring. Basically all there is are tons of restaurants there and the aquarium. $17.00 got us into the aquarium and it was definitely not that great. I kept comparing it to the one I went to in Vegas last year.. which was amazing so of course I kept thinking of how much the Baltimore one sucked. Atleast that was one trip I can cross off the list of things to do. Well, two trips.
Nemo, as every single kid was pointing out.
an awesome fish that reminded me of the one I stared at for the longest time at the aquarium in vegas
dolphin show. one of the dolphins was named Bob. wtf.
turtle picture for joe. i took a lot more but this one is the best.
colorful seahorse picture
this last one is taken from a balcony that was at a mall across from the aquarium, near the DIRTIEST river ever. seriously, there was trash everywhere in it. so lovely to be right next to an aquarium.

Gah, I hate Atlantic Shitty. I used to get stuck going there with my family every summer when I was little. And for a bit when I was a teenager.. I ended up going to arcades with my brother a lot. Oh, the only good thing was that at the mall-place on the beach, there's a big arcade in the back..if that's still there. The beach was always so dirty though. Yum!
But I love seahorses!!!!! Yay for seahorses. Yeah. Fun times.

I dunno if there was a mall there. It was alright but I hate gambling soo.. whats there to do besides walk around aimlessly. Today in the paper, I read that some woman won something like $575,000. on a progressive slot machine at the Showboat casino. She only lost $60 that day before she won. Hmm I forget where I was going with that..

I think that "awesome fish" you were talking about is called a butterfly fish

Maybe, I think there's tons of different kinds of "yellow fish" like that one.
